I have today deleted everything, including the game and done a fresh install of the game, and a fresh install of Vortex. I sadly get the same result. Loose files mods work by installing with Vortex. But if its prepackaged in a. But it never works. I think it may have something to do with the meta data not being added when installing a mod. Unless I'm missing something here. There are entries on Vortex's Game window for all 3 Witcher games.
I was able to find the. It has me manually locate the game file but then gives me an error saying there is a specific line it is looking for I cannot locate. For example if you install over mods in a day it eats all 8Gb of ram and slows your system down. Installing mods is slow as well. Not talking about downloads but the actuall installation. I tried to highlight some mods to remove them after testing but the feature doesn't seem to work. I kept clicking on both the colors and the icons and nothing happened.
First try was with all the mods I wanted to highlight, that didn't work, tried doing it with just 2 mods, didn't work either. So I guess I'm either doing something wrong or the feature just doesn't work. Just does nothing at all. It started happening recently out of nowhere and its very frustrating.
I am not sure what is going on over there with github if they are limiting the speed we can pull information to to plugins tab but something needs to be done I cannot wait 30 minutes every time i want to view a plugin or every time i install a new plugin to be able to view it.
Message reappears right after Deployment finishes. My computer crashed and then when I restarted it it wouldn't allow me to continue the download. It would tell me I need previous versions of mods or the base game in order to use certain mods, and upon changing to those versions, I am told that I need a different version instead.

Their is an orange icon on the right side of Vortex that says, Mods cant be deployed. And when you click on fix, you have 3 folder options to point to a directory.
Base, download path, and install path are the directories. I have no clue what is supposed to be in each path At this point I have no clue what to do, because the warning is still there saying, "mods can't be deployed'.
Does anyone know what is wrong, and how to fix this? After moving the game I pointed Vortex to the new game dir, a clunkier than normal procedure. After this vortex started complaining that the mods folder did not reside on the dame drive as the game.
I was ok with that as it was intended. However, it is not letting me install mods, is this intended, or am I doing something wrong?.
